About the Role

The successful candidate will have experience in managing a pub or similar establishment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth through effective marketing and promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • To oversee the day-to-day operations of the pub, ensuring high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
  • To manage a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they meet their roles and responsibilities effectively.
  • To develop and implement business plans, setting targets and monitoring progress to achieve sales and profit goals.
  • To maintain a strong relationship with local suppliers, negotiating competitive prices and terms to minimize costs.
  • To source and purchase stock, including beverages, food, and other essentials, ensuring availability and quality.
Requirements
  • A proven track record in hospitality management, preferably with experience in a similar establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and external partners.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve high standards.
  • Sound business acumen, with the ability to analyze data, set targets, and monitor progress.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
