About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks, needs, and strengths.
  • Develop and implement care plans to support the safety, well-being, and development of children and families.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and community organizations to coordinate and improve care.
  • Provide support and advocacy for children and families, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are protected.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with legal and professional standards.
Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in a social work role, preferably within children and family services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with children, families, and professionals.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social care and safeguarding.
