Lead Theatre Practitioner / Surgical First Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our team at an award-winning Private Hospital in Blackheath, South London. As a Surgical First Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the safe delivery of surgeries, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating theatre environment
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support during surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in the development and implementation of theatre protocols and procedures
Requirements:
  • RGN or ODP qualified with NMC or HCPC registration
  • Experience working in theatres or a transferable area
  • Previous experience working within a senior capacity will be advantageous
  • Passion for high-quality patient care and excellent interpersonal skills
