Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a lovely primary school in Coventry. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the main class teacher with daily activities and lesson delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the main class teacher with daily activities and lesson delivery
  • Encouraging the children to have a positive attitude to learning and supporting classroom management
  • Supporting small group activities to ensure all students are engaged and reach their full potential
  • Providing closer support to students who may need extra help

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A relevant teaching assistant qualification
  • Previous experience working in an educational setting
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to manage challenging behaviour
  • A DBS check will be required for the successful candidate
