About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our fee-earner colleagues in the residential property department.
Job Description
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Managing caseloads of purchase, sale, remortgage, leasehold enfranchisement, and other associated matters for both freehold and leasehold properties.
- Assisting fee-earners with conveyancing tasks, including file openings, conflict checks, sales packs, managing agent communications, protocol forms, contract papers, post-completion documents, property search reports, and leasehold extension matters.
- Liaising closely with clients to keep them updated on the progress of their work.
- Ensuring all appropriate documentation is recorded and updated as required.
- Supporting client meetings and events, arranging bookings, catering, issuing invitations, and distributing papers.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- Strong IT skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
- Experience working with case management systems and handling a caseload.
- Administrative or secretarial experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer and client service skills.
- Familiarity with Conveyancing/Residential Property processes, HMLR, SDLT, and conveyancing searches and documentation.

- A basic salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
