We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Statistician to join our team at the University of Oxford.
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in medical statistics or a closely related field, with a strong background in statistical programming languages and experience in developing and validating prediction models, systematic reviews, and clinical trial development.
As a Medical Statistician, you will contribute to a wide range of tasks across the project, including designing and developing research protocols, coding simulations, cleaning large and routinely collected data, writing statistical analysis plans, conducting statistical analyses, and writing scientific publications.
You will provide statistical advice to staff working in relevant projects and assist others in their work where appropriate. A PhD in a relevant scientific subject is desirable.
This is a full-time fixed term appointment for 3 years. You will be required to upload a CV and supporting statement as part of your online application.
