We are looking for a talented Software Architect to lead the development of our Python-based software solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software architectures that meet the needs of our customers.

Job Description:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the software stack, from user interaction to data analysis workflows and hardware connections.
  • Write robust, maintainable software primarily in Python, ensuring seamless integration with complex instrumentation and embracing test-driven development.
  • Investigate and address challenging engineering issues, conceiving high-performance solutions that expand the boundaries of what's possible.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years' experience as a software engineer working within environments that blend hardware and software.
  • A strong physics background is highly advantageous, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Physics or an equivalent credential combined with a solid understanding of physical principles.
  • A deep command of Python, experience working closely with hardware, and proven experience developing scientific or analytical applications using numerical and engineering-oriented Python tools.
