About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Engineer to join our team at Maxwell Bond. As a Lead Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of data and its architecture while remaining hands-on and leading a team of data engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data architectures and solutions using Azure, SQL Server, Power BI, and ETL processes.
  • Lead a team of 3 data engineers in the development and maintenance of data systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading data engineering teams and designing data architectures.
  • Strong technical skills in Azure, SQL Server, Power BI, and ETL processes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary up to £85,000 (dependent on experience).
  • 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays (rising each year).

  • Hybrid working – 3 days a week in our Central Liverpool office.
