About the Role

GSL Education is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Education Support Professional to join our team as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant. Our schools inspire and develop ambitious and driven teaching assistants and teachers to become brilliant practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students in defining and reaching their academic objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with educators to devise and execute customized educational strategies.
  • Aid students in managing day-to-day responsibilities and tasks.
  • Provide emotional reinforcement and motivation.
  • Track student advancement and communicate updates to instructors.
  • Deliver support within standard classroom environments.
  • Collaborate with teachers on lesson structuring and readiness.
  • Guide students through classroom and homework assignments.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a relevant qualification in teaching or education.
  • Previous experience working within a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
