Charity Furniture Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Charity Retail Furniture Volunteer to join our team in Blackburn. As a key member of our furniture department, you will be responsible for receiving donations and deliveries, sorting and pricing stock, building furniture, and assisting customers with their purchases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process furniture donations and deliveries
- Sort, label, and price stock to ensure efficient sales
- Build and prepare furniture for display, ensuring high-quality standards
- Greet and assist customers, including transporting heavy items to their vehicles
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized store environment
About You:
To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, be physically capable of lifting and moving heavy furniture items, and demonstrate a strong customer service focus. Additionally, you should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
