PPM Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled PPM Engineer - Supervisor to join our team at our Thetford site. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and maintaining the highest standards of engineering excellence.
Main Responsibilities:- Carry out all PPM tasks as required by the 52-week plan and ensure that all assets are fit for purpose and in a safe state to produce product.
- Work to achieve specific Engineering KPIs set for the Thetford site.
- Obtain and fit required parts, identify parts required, and request.
- Document all Engineering work carried out on the CMMs system with detail of work carried out and parts used on every job.
- Identify improvements and implement with approval.
- Assess and improve PPM tasks.
- Train and assist junior Engineers in carrying out the PPM tasks to ensure they are carrying out works correctly and in a safe manner.
- Report any safety issues.
- Ensure all Engineering parts used are booked out of the stores when used.
- Improve the machine reliability on critical assets.
- Always work in a safe manner.
- Always adhere to site and company rules.
- Mechanical and electrical Engineering skills to NVQ Level 3 Mechanical and Level 2 Electrical.
- 5 years' experience in a food manufacturing facility in an engineering function.
- Experience of leading a small team.
- Good engineering skills and understanding of Engineering practices.
- Knowledge of coating equipment.
- Knowledge of fryers would be beneficial.
- Good communication skills written and verbal.
- Basic PC and Office skills in Excel and Word.
