Job Description

Job Title: Breakfast Club Supervisor

Location: Leith Walk Primary School

Job Type: Part-time, Sessional

Hours: 6.25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Salary: £23,651 - £23,857 per annum (pro rata for part-time and sessional)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 9:00am

About the Role:

We are seeking two passionate and experienced individuals to join our team as Breakfast Club Supervisors at Leith Walk Primary School. As a Breakfast Club Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing a safe and welcoming environment for children to enjoy their breakfast and socialize with their peers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support children during breakfast time
  • Ensure the breakfast area is clean and tidy
  • Prepare and serve breakfast to children
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
  • Contribute to the overall well-being and safety of children in the breakfast club

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
