EXPERIENCED CLINICAL MANAGER - CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE

We are opening a new children's assessment home and have a fantastic opportunity for you to join Horizon Care and Education.

Key Requirements:

  • You have a minimum of 2 years' experience of managing an Ofsted home that carries a rating of good or above.
  • You hold a QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care for the Children's and Young People's Workforce or equivalent qualification.
  • You must have clinical experience and confidence to work with clinical and education teams.
  • You will have experience of heading multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Have worked in therapeutic homes, and experience of trauma care and therapeutic standards.
  • You pay attention to detail and never compromise on quality because you know that focusing on the success of small things can add up to have a really big positive impact.
  • You're passionate that children and young people should have equal opportunities, a voice that should be heard and they should be enabled to create their own bright futures.

The Role:

As a Clinical Manager, you'll be integral to the smooth running of daily life within our homes, enabling young people to thrive. Our homes all have a dedicated Deputy Manager to support you. Your role will include:

  • Managing a warm and friendly home, that provides a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to achieve positive outcomes that are authentic to them.
  • Achieving compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations and ensuring your home is always able to evidence a high standard of care and quality.
  • Leading a team of colleagues and facilitating their professional development so that they not only provide high-quality care and support, but are enabled to fulfil their own career potential too.
