We are seeking a skilled Pump Engineering Manager to lead our dynamic engineering workshop. As a key member of our team, you will oversee pump refurbishments, provide leadership and guidance, and ensure quality standards are met.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have comprehensive pump knowledge, technical proficiency in CAD, and practical engineering experience in industrial settings. You will be responsible for:
- Managing pump refurbishment projects from start to finish
- Providing hands-on support and guidance to the works engineering team
- Ensuring client-centric repairs and providing regular updates
- Collaborating with the Works Manager and shop supervisors on workshop planning and safety protocols
- Overseeing inspection reports and product quality management
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Comprehensive knowledge of centrifugal pumps, including HSC, volute, axial flow, and vacuum types
- Technical proficiency in technical drawings and CAD software
- Practical engineering experience in industrial settings, preferably in a supervisory or management role
