HR Advisor Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our small and supportive team at Gleeson Recruitment Group. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in handling employee relations cases, absence management, and restructures, working closely with our HR Manager and administrative team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage employee relations cases, including complex disciplinaries and grievances
  • Lead on absence management cases, identifying trends and offering solutions
  • Support restructures and consultations, working with line managers to implement effective solutions
  • Visit sites and work with line managers to identify employee issues, providing coaching and upskilling
  • Update and amend contracts, write policies, and assist with recruitment
  • Work with the administrative team to maintain employee databases and take notes at meetings and hearings
Requirements:
  • Up-to-date employment law knowledge and CIPD Level 5 or willingness to work towards it
  • Experience in handling long-term sickness and absence cases, as well as working with managers to tackle absence problems
  • Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to work closely with line managers and employees
