Pool Safety Specialist

As a Pool Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for supervising members in the pool, supporting the Operations team in maintaining a clean and tidy environment, and ensuring the highest safety standards are met.
The Role:
- Incorporate a friendly, calm, and approachable demeanor while acting quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Ensure the utmost safety of members in the pool and spa areas, taking responsibility for your own personal safety and that of others.
- Consistently act in a safe manner, knowing the importance of completing safety checks and recording them accurately.
- Monitor water chemical levels and clean the water when necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all areas and adhere to the high standards of Virgin Active.
- Be responsible for compliance with all mandatory training and health and safety protocols.
- Fulfill duty shifts when required, demonstrating accountability and responsibility during your shift.
Qualifications
- You do not currently hold a lifeguard qualification? No problem – we will provide you with training, and you will receive a Level 2 Award in Pool Lifeguarding over the course of 5 days.
