About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments of companies' management systems to ensure they meet the SSIP Core criteria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform health and safety assessments in accordance with SSIP Core Criteria and internal standards
  • Ensure all assessments meet defined service level agreements
  • Carry out assessments impartially, consistently, and fairly
  • Provide exceptional customer service in all customer interactions
  • Adhere to professional conduct and the SSIP assessor's code of conduct
  • Contribute to team effectiveness by actively participating in group discussions, activities, and exercises
  • Stay up to date with relevant health and safety legislation, SSIP Core Criteria, and internal processes
The Ideal Candidate
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in health and safety, preferably in construction
  • Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate
Benefits

A competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum + annual bonus + excellent training and progression opportunities + 22 days holiday + pension scheme.
