Swimming Instructor

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Swimming Instructor to join our team at Leicestershire County Council. As a Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering fun, progressive, and safe swimming lessons to a range of ages and abilities in group settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver swimming lessons that follow the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework
- Use tablet devices on poolside to take the register and track student progress
- Prepare and put away swimming lesson equipment
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a Level 2 Swim Teachers qualification, National Pool Rescue Award for Swim Teachers and coaches (NRASTC), or National Pool Lifeguard qualification (NPLQ). You should also have good communication and organisational skills, as well as a DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity.
