Lead Data Governance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Data Governance Strategist to join our team at Janus Henderson U.S. in London.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced data professional to lead our data governance initiatives and drive business value through strategic project delivery, change management, and process improvement.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of developing and implementing data governance frameworks, managing cross-functional teams, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Team and Deliver Results: Manage a team of data analysts to design and implement robust roadmaps of strategic projects and data governance initiatives, driving business change and delivering measurable improvements in data quality.
  • Data Governance and Compliance: Ensure data governance is upheld to a high standard, overseeing good data practices across the JHI estate, identifying opportunities to build efficiencies of scale, surface data redundancies and inconsistencies, reduce risk associated with manual data handling, and deliver creative solutions to the business.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Develop effective relationships with business areas, data operations, technology, and risk to oversee the delivery of data-related services to the organization, liaising with Technology teams to clearly communicate development changes required for delivery and overseeing testing and sign off with business users.

What We Offer:
  • Competitive Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum (dependent on experience), reflecting the skills and qualifications required for this role.
