Job Title: Care Worker

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Care Worker. As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our children and young people in a residential setting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To attend for work reliably and punctually
  • To attend any training as required and take part in a positive manner
  • To know where Cambian policies are kept and to be aware of and follow their contents
  • To carry out all duties as instructed in a safe, timely, professional and courteous manner
  • To play a full part in building good relationships with the children and staff
  • To carry out monitoring of maintenance requirements and provide admin team with records
  • To take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and that of others in the vehicle
  • To identify defects and damage and promptly report these to the site maintenance manager
  • To deal with emergencies if they should occur while out on the road
  • To ensure the security of the vehicles
  • To carry out, as and when required, any additional duties and responsibilities as are reasonably compatible with this job description and deemed appropriate by your employer in the interests of the company

Requirements:

  • Have worked with children or a care setting previously (preferable)
  • You must be over 21 years old
  • You must be able to attend a two-week training programme (fully funded by us)
  • No criminal record
  • Current, clean UK driving license
