About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Assistant to join our team in Leominster, providing exceptional care and support to our service user Freddie.

Freddie is a 12-year-old boy who requires 24-hour care due to his complex needs. He is a happy and smiley individual who thrives on interaction with his care team.

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting Freddie's daily life, including assisting him with personal care, mobility, and accessing the community.

You will also be responsible for helping Freddie make his own decisions and encouraging him to express his needs using his communication aids.

We require you to have experience in providing personal care, moving and positioning, and we offer full comprehensive training to ensure you feel confident and competent in your role.

Clinical Skills Required:

  • Tracheostomy Care
  • Ventilation management
  • Personal Care
  • Moving & Handling
  • Gastrostomy Care (PEG feed)

Working Arrangements:

We offer flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle, including full-time and part-time contracts. Shifts are available days and nights, and we require flexibility to cover both.

Benefits:

  • DBS paid for with all contract placements
  • Up to £15 travel expense paid with each shift
  • £300 loyalty bonus paid after 6 months of service
  • Excellent rates of pay: weekdays £15.00 per hour, weeknights £15.00 per hour, Saturdays £16.00 per hour, Sundays £17.00 per hour, and Bank Holidays £18.50 per hour
