Chief Financial Officer

Marks Sattin Executive Search is partnering with a successful international, PE-backed healthcare buy and build business to find a high-calibre CFO. The company has experienced significant growth through acquisitions and is now seeking a skilled financial leader to join the executive team.
About the RoleThe CFO will work closely with the CEO to oversee and execute an effective buy-and-build strategy, guiding the company through its next phase of profitable growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring financial excellence and executing due diligence for potential acquisitions
- Providing skilled financial leadership and developing the business's financial strategy
- Offering accurate financial projections to support strategic decision-making
- Supporting the CEO and management team in developing and delivering the business plan
- Leading the finance and operations department and implementing controls, processes, and procedures to support growth
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA), preferably chartered, with experience as a CFO in a PE-backed business. They will have a strong track record in an international buy and build environment and be able to implement and improve accounting systems, processes, management information, and financial reporting. Additionally, they will have experience of acquisitions and integrations, with a thorough understanding of financial due diligence for acquisitions and potential risks and opportunities.
The candidate will also have excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to operate at pace and drive change.
