About the Position">

The HR/ Payroll and Operations Assistant role is a vital part of our People Department at the UK Atomic Energy Authority. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to the success of our organisation while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities">

You will be responsible for managing payroll system processes, coordinating payroll actions, and providing professional advice to employees and managers. Key areas of focus include:

  • Managing end-to-end payroll system processes
  • Coordinating various payroll actions
  • Providing professional guidance on People-related processes and procedures
  • Managing the service management system (helpdesk)
  • Handling internal relocation processes
  • Conducting new starter inductions
  • Supporting pension-related queries

Key Requirements:

  • Solid administration experience in HR or Payroll
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Competent IT and Excel skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
