Location: Tonbridge, Kent (base office location) with some travel to sites in the region and occasional remote working possible.

Mainly standard office hours, but occasionally weekend or night work may be required.

We are seeking an experienced Ecologist to join our team as a specialist ecological advisor. The successful candidate will provide expert advice on ecological matters related to railway infrastructure development and maintenance.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify and assess ecological risks and constraints.
  • Develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to comply with UK and European wildlife legislation.
  • Analyse survey data using specialist software programs and produce high-quality reports.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecology, experience in providing ecological advice to rail industry clients, and excellent communication skills.
