Teaching Opportunity in Cambridge

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Year 4 teacher to join our team at a Good Ofsted rated school in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and creative environment, teaching an academic yet topic-based curriculum.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, keeping regular records of academic performance.
  • Create a positive learning environment that is both safe and conducive for learning.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to provide quality academic support.
  • Prepare and participate in school-related activities, such as performances and parent/teacher meetings.
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all children.

Requirements:

  • QTS PGCE and strong academic record.
  • Creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful, and adaptable practitioner.
  • Passionate about learning and able to communicate this passion to children and parents.
  • Able to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroom.

Salary and Benefits

Competitive salary range: £35,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience). In addition to a generous salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including professional development opportunities, health insurance, and pension scheme.
