Job Title: Mobile HGV Technician

We are seeking an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join our team at Sprint Recruitment Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out scheduled servicing inspections, MOT tests, and regular safety inspections of HGVs in accordance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out scheduled servicing inspections and preparation for testing as required for all fleet vehicles
  • Carry out MOT tests
  • Undertake regular safety inspections of HGVs in accordance with statutory requirements
  • Diagnose faults and repair as necessary
  • Complete all necessary records relating to the inspection, service, and repair of all fleet items
  • Liaise with colleagues, vehicle operatives, and managers to prioritise workload and organise replacement parts and/or specialist support when required
  • Provide out-of-hours repairs and breakdown cover as required by front-line services
Requirements:
  • Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ qualified HGV Technician
  • HGV Class 2 licence
  • Diagnostic experience is an advantage
  • Full UK driving licence
