Role Overview

Vistry Group PLC is seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join our Special Projects division. As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for managing remediation works on legacy projects across the Group, based out of our Brentwood offices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the built environment, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role. You will be conversant with building regulations and CDM Regulations, and have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and in budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project teams throughout the planning and development process, ensuring the delivery of projects on time and in budget.
  • Manage the technical and design process of the project from site investigation and briefing through planning consent to practical completion.
  • Provide technical advice on the feasibility of projects, determining constraints and advising on budgets, phasing, and timing.
  • Produce, monitor, and update development fees and utility costs budgets and cash flows for all project phases.

Requirements

  • Professional qualification from a recognized institution, e.g., ONC/HNC, NVQ in Construction.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working within the built environment.
  • Conversant with building regulations and CDM Regulations.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience of delivering projects on time and in budget.
