About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Digital Services Group at MASS Consultants. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining a secure environment, utilizing your extensive experience in Windows Server and Network Architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a mentor and coach colleagues with less experience, utilizing your vast knowledge of Windows Server and Network Architecture.
  • Manage and maintain the IT infrastructure of revolutionary defence systems, providing 3rd-line support to meet the demands of the business.
  • Provide exposure to cutting-edge technologies and industry-leading practices, while demonstrating your multi-vendor network and IT system experience.
Requirements
  • Experience with Firewall and Switch protocols across multiple vendors, including Cisco and Fortinet.
  • Working knowledge of Virtualization technologies, including Hyper-V and VMWare.
  • Extensive experience with WSUS, Backup technologies, and Monitoring software.
  • Security-focused system design and CIS benchmark experience.
Nice to Have
  • Linux operating system experience.
  • PRTG Software experience.
  • Veeam Software experience.
  • MDT experience.
  • Storage technology experience.
  • System design and CMDB upkeep.
  • Radio Frequency (RF) or Electronic Warfare (EW) technology experience.
Security Clearance

Due to the highly secure nature of the projects, you must be a Sole UK National and be eligible to undergo and maintain UK government SC security clearance.
