About the Role

Copello is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team on behalf of a Defence Prime. This is an exciting opportunity to work on current gen and next-gen programmes, utilizing your expertise in 3D modeling and 2D drawing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce 3D models of piping routes, mechanical compartment arrangements, and HVAC systems using AutoCAD.
  • Develop 2D drawings as part of your responsibilities.
  • Utilize CAD toolsets such as Solidworks and Siemens in both 2D and 3D.
Requirements
  • Understanding of CAD toolsets, including Solidworks and Siemens.
  • HNC/ONC level or degree qualification in a relevant STEM subject.
  • Experience in mechanical routed systems, including HVAC and piping.
  • Understanding of mechanical compartment integration and engineering standards at the component/equipment level.
Additional Considerations
  • Candidates with experience in high-hazardous industries, such as Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Aerospace, Maritime, and Automotive, may also be considered.
  • Due to the nature of the position, applicants must be eligible to obtain UK SC Clearance and be a sole British Citizen.
