Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Cloud Decisions is redefining what it means to be a Managed Service Provider (MSP). We're a Microsoft Solutions Partner with a unique blend of technical expertise and coaching, leading, and mentoring experience. Our team is comprised of the north-west's top technical talent who have excelled in larger MSP environments but were looking for something more.

This role has a unique blend that will leverage your technical expertise to support and manage high-value customer environments. Day-to-day, you'll be the Senior Engineer working to resolve complex technical issues, optimize cloud infrastructure solutions for performance and security, and guiding a talented team towards technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and resolve complex customer issues related to Azure cloud services and VMware private cloud.
  • Provide support across all Microsoft enterprise services (Windows Server, AD) and the full Microsoft 365 stack.
  • Manage security solutions, including Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and CVE vulnerabilities.
  • Optimize infrastructure for cost efficiency, security, and performance.
  • Report performance metrics and risk assessments to senior management.
  • Ensure service delivery meets performance targets.
Requirements:
  • Strong skills in core infrastructure, including Active Directory, Microsoft Server, and VMware.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
