We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Bar Back at San Carlo, one of the UK's leading family-owned companies. As a Bar Back, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and contributing to the success of our restaurant.

About the Role

You will be responsible for assisting bartenders with tasks, clearing glasses, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. You will also manage cash and credit card transactions, create a welcoming atmosphere, and engage with customers to provide exceptional service.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment, working towards achieving our high standards. You will work closely with our experienced team to deliver an outstanding dining experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist bartenders with tasks, including preparing drinks and garnishes
  • Clear glasses and maintain a clean and organized bar area
  • Manage cash and credit card transactions
  • Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers
  • Engage with customers, making recommendations and answering questions about the menu and drinks
Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail, highly organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks
  • A proactive self-starter who can work independently with good judgment and minimal direction
