About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Band 6 Community Midwife to join our team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our midwifery team, you will provide high-quality care to our patients and contribute to the development of our midwifery services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive midwifery care to patients in the community, including antenatal, postnatal, and postpartum care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Contribute to the development of our midwifery services, including the implementation of new policies and procedures.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care coordination.
Requirements
  • Registered Midwife with a current practicing certificate.
  • Band 6 experience in a community midwifery setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full, clean UK driving license.
