About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Therapist to join our team at North Star Health. As a Dental Therapist, you will be responsible for providing oral health care services to patients in a community-based setting.

You will develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs and concerns of each patient, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

About North Star Health

North Star Health is a not-for-profit, community-based healthcare system serving southeastern Vermont and southwestern New Hampshire.

We have a unique model that integrates 12 federally qualified health centers, including two dental clinics, a vision center, four school-based health centers, and a site within our local recreation center.

Our health centers are Medical Home sites with the highest quality certification (Level 3) from the National Committee for Quality Assurance. Patient-centered care is evidence-based, providing high-quality outcomes and being accessible and affordable to all based on a sliding fee scale.

The Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Dental Therapy or a related field.
  • Certification as a Dental Therapist in the state of Vermont or New Hampshire.
  • At least two years of experience working as a Dental Therapist in a community-based setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and colleagues alike.
