Capital and Liquidity Expert

The Emerald Group is seeking a highly skilled Actuarial / Senior Analyst to contribute to the determination, management, and optimization of regulatory and economic capital and liquidity requirements for companies in the UK Division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain methodologies for calculating economic capital and liquidity, ensuring proper implementation in capital models.
  • Support the production and review of regulatory capital requirements methodologies, ensuring accurate implementation in models and results.
  • Contribute to capital and liquidity planning, including Stress and Scenario Testing (SST) analyses, capital projections, and sensitivities.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Capital and Liquidity to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure strong technical skills, including financial reporting or Solvency II knowledge/experience.
  • Foster a good understanding of the UK regulatory environment.

Requirements:

  • Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (or equivalent).
