Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Graduate Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Newham. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to begin their career in an educational setting, supporting students with speech and language needs.

About the Role

This full-time Graduate Speech and Language Therapist role involves providing individual and group therapy to students with speech and language difficulties. You will work closely with teachers to develop and implement strategies for student support, monitor and assess student progress, and advise staff on strategies for speech and language support in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with teachers to provide inclusive education
  • Conduct regular assessments and progress monitoring
  • Provide training and guidance to school staff
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Experience in a school setting is desirable, but not essential
