We are seeking reliable and flexible Class 1 drivers to join our team at SolviT Recruitment LTD.

Job Summary:

As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times, completing daily checks, and reporting any vehicle defects. You will also be responsible for loading and securing goods, carrying out trunking and multi-drop deliveries, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times, completing daily checks and reporting any vehicle defects.
  • Load and secure goods correctly before moving the vehicle.
  • Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law.
  • Provide excellent customer service, obtaining relevant signatures and paperwork before moving on to the next drop or depot.
Requirements:
  • Class 1 licence, current DQC card, and digital Tacho card.
  • At least 12 months experience on UK roads.
  • No more than 6 points (no IN DR or DD codes).
  • Physically fit.
  • Great customer service skills.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £15-£21.
  • Flexibility with ad hoc shifts or full weeks.
  • Weekly pay via SolviT Recruitment LTD.
