We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Composite Design Engineer to spearhead the development of primary and secondary composite structures for our cutting-edge aerospace vehicle solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop composite structures for demonstrators, prototypes, and aircraft, leveraging expertise in composite materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of composite components into the overall aircraft design.
  • Implement and refine design methodologies to enhance manufacturability and scalability of composite components.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in composite materials, manufacturing techniques, and design software to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering Master's degree.
  • ~3 to 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry designing primary and/or secondary composite components.
  • Rooted engineering fundamentals in core disciplines such as design, stress, and fatigue, and damage tolerance.
  • Proficiency in composite 3D modeling with aerospace-grade tools such as Siemens NX, Fibresim, and/or CATIA Composite Workbench.
  • Advanced understanding of manufacturing and assembly techniques for composite structures, including tolerance analysis and tolerance stacks.
  • Basic understanding of design-relevant processes driven by EASA Part 21 and FAA regulations.
