Key Responsibilities- Prepare and submit planning applications and appeals, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Manage projects from conception to completion, working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- Promote land for development, engage with the public through consultations and exhibitions, and foster strong relationships with clients.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of planning policies, laws, and best practices to inform project decisions.
- Contribute to the growth and development of our team, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive excellence in planning and development.
- Professional planning experience, with a minimum of 2 years for Senior Planner and 5 years for Associate, ideally including private sector experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- Full UK driving licence, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
- A competitive salary, with a range of approximately £32,000 - £52,000, plus bonus and allowances.
- A twice-yearly bonus scheme, tied to individual and team performance.
