About the Role
RHL is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join their team in Torpoint, Cornwall. This permanent position comes with a competitive salary of £32-£36K and 30 days annual leave.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient operation of fuel storage systems. Your key responsibilities include planning and executing maintenance schedules, preparing work areas, and ensuring compliance with SSOW, RAMs, and PTW procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of mechanical systems and be able to troubleshoot effectively. A certified Mechanical Technician with qualifications in a recognised Craft Apprenticeship or equivalent experience is required. You should also be medically fit and comfortable working in confined spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Execute maintenance schedules to ensure the safe and efficient operation of fuel storage systems.
  2. Prepare work areas and equipment for maintenance tasks.
  3. Comply with SSOW, RAMs, and PTW procedures.
  4. Troubleshoot mechanical systems and identify solutions to resolve issues.

Requirements:
  1. Certified Mechanical Technician with qualifications in a recognised Craft Apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  2. Ability to work in confined spaces.
  3. Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
