Family Physician Opportunity in Kinmount, Ontario

Kinmount & District Health Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician to join our team. As a Family Physician at our health centre, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide primary care to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors
- Conduct routine check-ups, diagnose and treat illnesses, and manage chronic conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and refer patients to specialists when necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Postgraduate training from Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or USA
- Eligible for certification by the College of Family Physicians Canada (CFPC)
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- A competitive salary range of $275,000 - $350,000
- A comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage
- A generous overhead split, typically 20% of billings
- A fully equipped facility with modern amenities and a supportive team
Kinmount & District Health Centre is a bright, spacious, and well-resourced health centre in the heart of Ontario's beautiful cottage country. Our health centre is over 650 square meters and includes offices and examination rooms to accommodate three doctors. We offer a modern, fully equipped procedure room for minor surgical procedures, diagnostic purposes, and musculoskeletal joint and soft tissue injections. Our offices and examination rooms are fully equipped, with capital expenses funded through the Health Services Foundation at no cost to the physicians.
We are a friendly and welcoming community, with a variety of excellent housing and land opportunities. Our community offers four-season outdoor recreation, including boating, cycling, hiking, golf, skiing, snowmobiling, hockey, curling, snowshoeing, fishing, and more. We are easily accessible by car, with good roads and little traffic. Our community is located at the intersection of Haliburton County, Peterborough County, and the City of Kawartha Lakes, a two-hour drive north-east of Toronto.
