Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safeguarding Adults Officer to join our team. As a Safeguarding Adults Officer, you will be responsible for leading the local authority response to safeguarding adults concerns. This is an excellent opportunity to use your skills and experience to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable adults.

You will work closely with the safeguarding adults manager and senior safeguarding adults officers to ensure that all necessary actions are taken to protect adults at risk from abuse. You will also provide support and guidance to colleagues and partners to promote best practice in safeguarding adults.

This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding adults principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £50,000 per annum, which reflects the importance of this role in protecting vulnerable adults. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including family leave options, a pension scheme, and generous leave entitlement.

This position requires a valid driving licence and own transport, or alternative suitable method of travel.
