Our Falkirk Service Centre is the UK's High Voltage Service Centre of Excellence, at the forefront of cutting-edge maintenance solutions for rotating machinery. Serving diverse sectors such as Wind/Hydro Power, Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, and Water, we're committed to reducing repair times and boosting productivity to ensure our customers experience minimal downtime.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer interactions with professionalism and expertise.
  • Conduct fault-finding activities on a diverse range of rotating machinery.
  • Installation, removal, and replacement of HV motors, generators, and white metal bearings.
  • Execute the dismantling, inspection, and rebuilding of machinery in adherence to pre-established work scopes.
  • Uphold the highest standards of on-site work quality, guaranteeing excellence in every aspect of our service delivery.
  • Conduct alignment checks using either DTIs or Laser alignment equipment.

Requirements:

  • A recognised apprenticeship or possession of an Electrical/Mechanical engineering qualification.
  • Previous demonstrable experience of overhaul and repair of all types of electric motors and generators, including LV & HV.
  • Laser alignment, baker testing, electrical winding, vibration analysis, and on-site balancing skills are desirable.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changes in project requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, ensuring precision in every task.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills, establishing trust and confidence with our clients.
