Job Description

This is a Class 1 Store Delivery role where you will be responsible for delivering goods to various stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Category C (Class 1) vehicle and adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
  • Prioritize efficient delivery routes to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate with dispatchers as needed.
    • Work schedules: Monday to Friday, 4am-6am starts, with some weekend shifts.
    • Average number of drops per shift: 2-3.
    • Loading/unloading cargo using pallets, cages, or dollies.
    • Hourly rate: £17.23-£25.85 (dependent on hours worked), including holidays.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Certified Professional Competence (CPC) card and a valid Category C license.
  • No more than 6 points on your driving license for insurance purposes.
  • At least 12 months' experience driving a Category C vehicle, with at least 60 days' experience in the last 6 months.
