Welder Specialist

Competitive Salary in Line with ECSA Pay Rates

£50,000 - £65,000 per annum

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking experienced Welders to join our team at the prestigious Hinkley Point C project.

About the Role:

• Contribute to the construction of the UK's first-ever 3rd generation nuclear power plant.
• Work within the MEH Alliance to deliver complex piping and cabling systems.
• Perform welding operations to a radiographic standard.
• Conduct equipment inspections and adhere to established welding protocols and safety regulations.
• Identify and report potential welding problems for corrective action.
• Collaborate effectively with the team to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

• Significant welding experience with a solid foundation in various welding techniques.
• A proven track record in large-scale projects in a regulated sector.
• Experience working in environments with stringent quality control procedures and inspections.
• Proficient in welding and fabricating piping systems, understanding the specific requirements of this field.
• A multi-disciplined welding approach and the ability to weld a variety of materials.
• Level 3 Welding Apprenticeship (or equivalent)
• EN ISO certified (or equivalent)
