Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Biffa Waste - Coulsdon Depot. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles and waste management handling equipment to meet health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair vehicles and waste management equipment to meet regulatory requirements
  • Perform scheduled preventative service and maintenance inspections to meet Biffa's operator's licence commitments
  • Work on a diverse fleet of vehicles, including light commercial vans and 44t articulated specialist assets
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills to support continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified HGV Technician with a Level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working on a range of vehicle types and equipment
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
