Job Summary

The Ambition24hours Locums and Allied team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a Highly Specialist Speech Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated professional to work with patients who require specialized speech and language therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to patients with complex communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Service Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of speech and language therapy services, ensuring they meet the needs of patients and stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and technologies in speech and language therapy, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  • Leadership: Assume leadership responsibilities, mentoring junior therapists and contributing to the development of the speech and language therapy team.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Recognized Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent, and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Experience: Proven experience in speech and language therapy, with a focus on complex communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
