We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems to join our team at CV Bay Ltd. This is an ideal role for a time-served engineer with experience in PLC controls and electrical systems, looking to step into a position offering a day shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance on various equipment, including PLC-controlled systems, motors, hydraulics, and gearboxes.
  • Rapidly respond to breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Work closely with the production team to optimise equipment performance and support continuous improvement.
  • Document maintenance activities and suggest improvements to planned maintenance schedules and practices.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Electrical Engineering qualifications, such as an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Strong mechanical skills, particularly in handling gearboxes, motors, and hydraulics.
  • Extensive experience with PLC control systems and automation (robotics) in a manufacturing environment.
