Job Title: Geo-Environmental Consultant

We are seeking an ambitious Geo-Environmental Consultant or Engineering Geologist to join our team at Allen & York (Built and Natural Environment) Ltd. The successful candidate will be part of our Geo-Environmental & Mining Business Unit, providing land quality, ground investigation, geotechnical and geo-environmental consultancy services to a broad range of private and public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience of geotechnical and geo-environmental data assessment and drafting interpretative reports
• Practical experience of managing and supervising ground investigations and laboratory scheduling
• Sound knowledge of field investigation techniques
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental management for ground investigation and of CDM regulations as applicable to design

Requirements:

• First degree or Masters in geology or engineering geology
• CSCS card relevant to the position
• Full, clean driving licence
• Willingness to travel on occasion for ground investigation works or remediation supervision
