Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Services Management Lead to join our Pharmacy Team at Cleveland Clinic London. As a full-time role, you will support the delivery of our Medicines Optimisation mission by leading and managing pharmacy production services, ensuring high standards of quality and safety, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop, implement, and supervise sterile (aseptic) and non-sterile production services, including oncology, CIVAS, unit dose, and liquid preparations.
  2. Provide technical medicines information and advice to caregivers and patients.
  3. Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Operations Manager, Pharmacy IT Team Lead, and Lead Clinical Pharmacist to achieve our vision of harnessing the best of global and UK clinical practice and innovation to provide holistic pharmaceutical care.
  4. Lead and be responsible for the development, implementation, and supervision of pharmacy production services in line with local and national legislation (Section 10 Exemption of the Medicines Act 1968), regulation, and best practice standards.
Requirements
  • Registration as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy or a related area (preferred).
  • Postgraduate accreditation in technical/aseptic services.
  • Deep-level knowledge and training in quality assurance and medicines safety.
  • Further education in leadership, management, or business (desired).
  • Significant pharmacy production experience, including oncology, some of which at leadership level.
  • Substantial hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Experience supporting the development and implementation of medicines optimisation systems with clinical, IT, and informatics teams.
  • Clinical oncology experience (desired).
