Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to work within our Children's Integrated Therapy team in Wiltshire.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To assess the needs of children and develop treatment plans to meet their needs.
  2. To work closely with children, young people, families, and other professionals to achieve agreed goals for therapy.

Working Environment:

You will be working in a variety of community settings, including clinics, nurseries, schools, and clients' homes across Wiltshire.

The Ideal Candidate:

  1. Degree or diploma equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
  2. HPCP registration.
  3. At least 2 years post-graduate experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  4. Experience working with children in various settings.
  5. Broad knowledge of current best practice in occupational therapy.
  6. Competent to use standardized assessments and outcome measures.
  7. Able to act independently and on own initiative while recognizing limitations.
  8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  9. Articulate and good communication skills.
  10. Self-directed in learning and commitment to CPD.
